Old phones.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now. We’ve got at least two old-ish Sony Ericsson K800i’s gathering dust (and scratches) in the bottom of a gadget box. There is also the first generation 8GB iPhone I upgraded recently which my lovely daughter uses as an Abba–powered jukebox.

The Saturday Guardian had an article in the Money section about trading in old mobiles for cash. Of the three sites they mention, Love2Recycle had the best value for the phones so I added the IMEI data for all three phones. The recycling value came to £199.20! An envelope is on it’s way to us to post the phones and hopefully followed by a cheque within 7 days.

We’re popping over to the Apple Store today to buy Laura an iPod nano…. in Pink, of course.
