We spent a few days in France last week to celebrate my Father-in-Law’s 70th birthday. I fell head over heals in love with the Dordogne. We stayed in a lovely and spacious gite called Le Peyrat in Saint Martin de Guscon about an hour away from Bergerac. We even had a French chef cook two nights for us and the food was just… so amazingly delicious
More photos here. I took the photo above on the Grand Etang de la Jamaye lake.

We’re off to Spain tomorrow morning for a much needed two-week break. See you all when we get back!
Batteries, commence recharge….
PS: that’s Dana in the pool in Spain last year.
It’s been very, very busy and a bit stressful since the year started and I’m so glad that the Easter break is finally here. We’re all off to Bahrain for a holiday in the sunshine (hopefully no sand storms!)
I’ll leave you with these videos showcasing the iPhone’s only serious competitor, the Palm Pre.
The bug has caught up with me. You know how it goes, you work incredibly hard before a holiday, shoehorning five or six campaigns before you go on your break. Then the cold that’s been going around the office and at home and you miraculously miss hits you. Bugger.
Anyway, it’s Christmas in Ireland for us this year. We have the joy of flying RyanAir on Monday but I’m sure when we get there everything will be fine. In the words of that great Irish philosopher and national poet, Father Jack:
“Feck!!! Gurrrllls! Drrrriiinkkkk!!!”
Happy Christmas!
